    Grupo chico, recuerdos grandes

    Sunrise in the Andes

Cold air, pink glow, and our group just went quiet. A llama wandered into the frame. My chest did this weird happy ache.

    Big smiles, bigger memories

Our CEO guide turned a string of towns into stories. Ate with families, hiked at sunrise, laughed on long buses. I left tired in the best way and strangely connected to everyone in the van.

We reserved our spot 3 months

We reserved our spot 3 months ahead and paid the posted price. A few weeks later, the tour was offered at a lower price. We couldn't get any discount.

What a journey... for anyone feeling unsure about going

What a journey... for anyone feeling unsure about going on Safari for the first time... this is the trip to take. Went with my mother, both of us new to South Africa, and it was a smooth experience thanks to our CEO and driver, Nina and Raymond. The itinerary was spot on, we knew what to expect and received updates each evening at dinner for the following day. Food and lodging were better than we anticipated for a 'Classic' tour. The mini bus was adequate for the group, but some taller people found it a bit uncomfortable on longer rides. There are long travel days through the park but with breaks every 2 hours. Would strongly recommend.

    Jordan is an amazing place

Jordan is an amazing place with such friendly people. I booked a taxi to pick me up from the airport and take me to the Mena Hotel, and the driver was super nice. The staff at the hotel were helpful when I arrived early in the morning, but they did leave me to find my room with my luggage by myself. First impression of the room was that it needed a bit of an upgrade, but the king-size bed was really comfy. The room had a view of the small pool. The TV didn’t work and the fridge only worked if you kept the key card in the slot—using a credit card helped. The air conditioning was top-notch, and the shower was just okay. The hotel was pretty busy and there’s a school opposite, which made the area chaotic during pickup and drop-off times, but it was fun to watch. There’s a smoking area outside and an American-style bar/restaurant attached to the hotel serving burgers, fries, wings, and alcohol. There’s also a small shop in the foyer selling jewelry and knick-knacks. Zuhair, the CEO, is an excellent guide and storyteller. Jerash is a fascinating Roman site, and the Dead Sea is a one-of-a-kind experience. Karak has an interesting crusader castle, and Mount Nebo is all about Moses. The hotel in Petra was weird—you stay in one place but have to walk to another for breakfast and the pool because other hotels are closing down due to fewer tourists. Definitely visit Little Petra before Petra itself. Petra is just incredible! Skip the nighttime visit, it’s not worth it. If you go for a Turkish bath, tip the staff beforehand because the guy who collects the money is quite unpleasant. The desert journey was fantastic, though it was too hot to sleep. The food cooked under the sand was amazing. Lay by the firepit and enjoy the stars. The extra 4x4 trip is a must—so much fun! Aqaba was not my favorite, but the boat trip was awesome. The journey back to Amman was long and boring. Ladies, local men might flatter you a lot, but don’t get your hopes up. They’re respectful and polite. Definitely visit Jordan!

    Wow, where do I start?

Wow, where do I start? The "Cape & Dunes Northbound: Wildlife and starry night skies" trip was just incredible! Everything was so well organized, and Angie and Lenny, our awesome CEOs, made sure we had an unforgettable adventure. I can't believe how much I learned about the local culture and history. Those two really know their stuff and were always ready to whip up some delicious meals for us. They also made sure our group clicked and became great friends. Yeah, there's quite a bit of time spent on the road, but honestly? The views are so stunning that you don't even mind. We saw some wild animals and played games with each other to pass the time. It felt like a real adventure. I was part of the 18-to-thirty-somethings group, and we stayed in these cool 2-person tents. Sleeping in the tents just made the whole experience feel more authentic, like we were really soaking in the African culture. If you're thinking about going, do it! This trip is the perfect mix of adventure, learning, and making new friends. Highly recommend!
